This busy bee will relax a bit this weekend

6 06 2008

This weekend I will finally set my feet on those white sandy shores of Bantayan. Together with James, we will enjoy our 3 days and 2 nights at the Kota beach resort.

If you guys happen to visit Philippines, Bantayan is a not-so- secret paradise located just at the northwest tip of Cebu. Unlike the famous tourist destination spot, Boracay, Bantayan offers the same only at a lower price. Bantayan has been quoted as a poor man’s Boracay nevertheless you will enjoy the white sand beaches, turquoise water and fresh air.

I have been to Bantayan twice already and this coming weekend will be my third. This time I be enjoying a more relaxing escapade unlike my first Bantayan experience wherein we were roughing it out by pitching some tent at the beach front and sleeping in some sleeping bag.

This time we will have our accommodation at the Kota Beach Resort. Out of all of the resorts we were calling out yesterday, Kota was the only one that fit our tight budget that still has some available rooms.

I can’t wait for tomorrow. At last I will get my chance to relax and get a away from my piling work load. I have been very busy lately, you can tell through my sporadic blog postings. And if you are like me, a one busy bee, give yourself a time off to recharge those creative juices. If you are planning to go to Bantayan in the near future, I have here below some contact numbers you can use.

Resorts in Bantayan:

Tickety Boo Beach Resort - mobile: +63-920-749-0743 Landline: +63-32-438-9105

My Friend Michelle stayed here during her last Bantayan escape, she said the beach here isn’t as great as the one in sugar beach but the accommodation is okay.

Kota Beach - Landline: +63-032-419-6135 & 032-438-9042

James has been here and the beach at this area is stunning. They have very reasonable accommodation rates ranging from Php 770 to Php 2000. The picture you see, is Kota beach resort. Gorgeous isn’t it. I will be here come this weekend. :)

Budyong Beach - Landline: +63-032-438-5700

This is also a good resort. Very affordable accommodation and a great sand bar if I might add.

Sugar Beach - Mobile +639217755058

Very cheap accommodation. Their facilities are not that great but the beach sure is beautiful. They don’t have a restaurant for you to dine but their friendly staff can cook for you. It is a quaint mixture of relaxation and roughing it out a bit.

Hoyohoy Villas - Landline: +63-32-416-905 & +63-32-438-9223 Mobile: +63-917-346-1068

Now, this is a class A resort. The architecture is unique since the cottages are inspired from a rice granary concept which brings out an elegant tasteful designed villas nesting on a beautiful property.

Some other resorts we have listed and called out yesterday.

Her and His Story

16 05 2008

Some would call this just sappy and some would call this labor of love. James and I recently started our very own blog about our random banters on relationships, on love and on each other. This is the first time ever, I shared an online presence with a man and it’s a huge step for me *grin*. It’s a he said, she said blog that we hope would shed some light for new couples and just plainly humor the in love and the love forlorn. This will be your online “teleserye” folks, although a not so Filipino melodramatic love story but nonetheless there will be drama.

Please visit our blog using this link: http://herandhistory.blogspot.com

PS. James and I are really interested in exchanging links with fellow bloggers who share one blog with their sweetheart or a blog that talks mainly about their relationship. Didn’t I mention it here before that I can get cheesy… Super cheesy that sometimes I have the kick myself back to reality… ;)

Sex for Better Health - (Full)

27 03 2008

And so the full article is out. Here is the first paragraph on how sex can really make you a healthy person. Sex is often regarded as a carnal need, as a matter of fact it is. However there is more it. Sex doesn’t only quench that need but it also apeases many of our body’s needs that we often are lazy to answer.

“Today, more and more people are having health problems, especially with their weight. Most of the time, fitness training at the nearby gym is the sought after solution but not everybody can give the needed commitment. Basically, at first one would get so excited but after a month or so, the excitement wears off and is replaced by boredom and laziness. Problem with most of us is that we want instant results. We don’t want to plant seeds, we want to harvest the crops directly. Gym goers that has put a hault in their fitness training generally do so out of frustration. Frustrated that they don’t see any progress after a month of training. Actually, you reap the good results of fitness training after 6 months of doing it so exercise deligently.”

A New Office

27 02 2008

I am very excited about us moving to a  new office building. This time, the building is ours. Ours for the taking. :)

The renovation, we hope, would take about a month for the office. However our Architect feared that it might take longer depending on how things will go. Nonetheless we will stay within the schedule since our rent contract in the city office is only up to the end of March.

I saw the proposed design and that’s basically why I’m so excited. I could just imagine myself on my sleek new desk inside the zen inspired modern designed office of ours. Cool.. :)

Anyway, here is the proposed lay-out.

Lobby

This here is the proposed design of the lobby. Although, I’d prefer a simpler ceiling accents. Our CEO commented on how mentally inspiring the design is although he prefers that we keep the high ceiling.

Artist office

This here is the proposed lay-out for the graphic artists’ room.

What do you think?

LazyAnimation Gets Revamped

1 02 2008

LazyAnimation, a Scandinavian 3d company recently revamped its site’s lay-out to a much lighter shade of gray. Officially released this week, the new and improved LazyAnimation displays a slide-show presentation of what they can do and showcasing it’s, now, strongest suite which is 3d architectural rendering.

Primarily known for it’s character animation services, LazyAnimation repositioned itself, now offering  3d architectural rendering and modeling services mostly to the Scandinavian Market. “If an architect in Denmark wants to have his design modeled and rendered, it would cost him roughly about 5.000 DKK” Jane Kirk, CEO of LazyAnimation, explained.

LazyAnimation has it’s main office in Copenhagen Denmark while the production is in the Philippines. “The Philippines has always been my number one choice for graphics and now for my architectural renderings”, Jane said. She also added that not only can LazyAnimation provide photo realistic architectural renderings but they can also do it in “a much, much, much” lower cost.

The studio is powered by high-end graphic cards from NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX, with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.46 hz/ 4m6L2) processor, a 4GB Memory for multi-tasking, an Asus LG775 Chipset and a 640 GB Hard drive in RAID 0 for a fast file transfer and data capacity.

Although LazyAnimation is directing most of its marketing to its architectural rendering service, LazyAnimation still has several 3d magic up it’s sleeve such as  character animation; product modeling and animation; and logo animation.

LazyAnimation is a sister company of LazyMask, a clipping path service provider, and LazyMovie, a rotoscoping and chroma keying VFX facility.
