Goooooo(50 more O’s)gle

I have been sporadically posting recently but nonetheless I do try my best to post at least once a week. I know, I owe you guys the Bantayan photos and the Coffee and Yoda tutorial. I have been fairly busy with my freelance job, I like work 12 to 14 hours a day now. Not that much action going on in my life right now.

Anyway, Michelle, colleague and friend, sent me this rather interesting link. Do you often wonder how big of an influence Google is in our lives? Just now, I have been non-intentionally and mindlessly typing Google each time I try to write something with G and O in it. Crazy, I know.

What role does Google play in your life? In my life, Big G is:

1. Big G is my Oracle.
2. My Therapist
3. My Friend
4. and My enemy.

Regardless of what role Big G plays, he is nonetheless an eminent being relentlessly casting his super powers among the internet dependent humans such as us. *hehehe*

Anyway, unlike me who is super busy now a days, this man, had so much time when he registered this domain. Who would have think that Google with 56 O’s exists? Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogle. The guy behind this copycat yet uniquely interesting site is either a genius or a bum with not much left to do except for counting Os. I must say I am loving the logo and the tag line is rather witty, “If you accidentally typed 56o’s click here to go to google.com”, such humor ei?

My own domain?

I have been thinking. I was actually inspired by dirtylaundrydiva, she recently move to her very own domain. Good for her; I am just loving her blog bling-bling and all. So I have been thinking of getting one of my own. I enjoy blogging so much, let me rephrase it, I am addicted to blogging. There are a lot of perks when you have your own domain if you don’t mind that you’d be paying for it.

I have read 12 reasons why I should opt blogging with my own domain. What do you think about this?

I have been seriously contemplating on this and I have below my pro-con list.

Here is my Pro list

1. I can add as much plug-ins
2. I can customize my themes as much as I want to. I have this girly and cutesy theme planned out… *super huge grin*
3. My URL is fairly shorter compared to my current URL
4. Honestly, I would like to earn some passive income out of this addiction
5. I can tweak the codes (I will try and learn some decent web development from now on)

My Con list on the other hand.

1. I will be shelling out some cash
2. I will have to start all over again but then this is not much of a problem. Patience is a virtue.
3. I have no basic knowledge on HTML or something, so maintaining my own website can be such a challenge at a certain point

Basically that’s all I can think of as of now. I am really seriously considering this. James thinks its a great idea that I move to a more permanent online home. Can you help a friend out and tell me should I move or should I just stay?

Graphic Endeavors for the Day

After the countless hours of writing, I needed this break. After I transfered the pictures from the digicam, I had started having fun with Photoshop. I edited the pictures of my sisters and dogs to my fancy and below are the results.

Respectively, we have here (a) Coffee and Yoda, (b) Zelma, and (c) A.K.A “Tisha”. For Coffee and Yoda, I gave the photo a Polaroid effect, for Zelma a surreal like effect and for Tisha, obviously, the scary look effect (Believe me guys, she is pretty in person).

Her and His Story

Some would call this just sappy and some would call this labor of love. James and I recently started our very own blog about our random banters on relationships, on love and on each other. This is the first time ever, I shared an online presence with a man and it’s a huge step for me *grin*. It’s a he said, she said blog that we hope would shed some light for new couples and just plainly humor the in love and the love forlorn. This will be your online “teleserye” folks, although a not so Filipino melodramatic love story but nonetheless there will be drama.

Just Updates

I have long been planning to change my banner. However, the last one I made didn’t seem to appeal the graphic forum I have attended and prefer the current banner I have. Anyway, I have been working on my new banner. Not really me, more like James has been working on with my new banner. He basically did 80% of this all. The remaining 20% is all me. Marvel at the beautiful watermark I’ve created… *LOL* Honestly, I suck at vector so much that’s why I had James made me one. He has this artistic gift he loves to boast about and at another lifetime he must’ve been a painting virtuoso of some sort. Anyway, here is my work-in-progress banner. Tell me what you think, okay? Be honest, be brutal, James will take it lightly…

This is far from finished and we will be working on it more. However between the two concepts, which do you like best?

For my second update, after this, I’m off to bed. James, finally got hooked with blogging. He is more interested in monetizing his blog though. He just officially started yesterday. He hasn’t really set up, set up, his blog yet since he still has some questions that I need to answer. I would still have to show him around wordpress.
