“Teleserye” is the Filipino way of calling a melodramatic television series. I would not deny that I am a kapamilya fan *grin* and I know you are too (that’s if you’re living inside the boundaries of the Philippines or if you’re an OFW TFC subscriber). Filipinos are quite fond of melodramatic television series. We so love seeing the star of the show get slapped on the face tons of times by her evil madrasta. Despite the fact that our blood pressure would rise while watching our idol get maltreated by most of the characters in the show, still, we would not dare miss an episode of it. One X-factor of a high rated teleserye is their “love team”. Even though we have the nagging feeling of avenging the hero of the show by ourselves, we know her prince charming will save her in the end. Yes, we pinoys can be such a romantic. And as a tribute to all the romantic telerseyes and in order for my mom to give her sound judgement, if indeed me and my boyfriend are in love based on that “teleserye love struck look”, I have made my very own teleserye poster.
